Lakeside Path to Wellness

The Lakeside Path to Wellness presented by Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center brings awareness to healthy living within our community. The new lakeside path is approximately 0.9 miles with "Steps to Good Health" tips and mile markers along the path.

John Sackett, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Adventist HealthCare and President of Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, said this about the new project: "We are pleased to sponsor the Lakeside Path to Wellness at RIO Washingtonian. This pathway furthers our mission of improving the health of people and communities and encourages visitors to RIO Washingtonian to lead healthy, balanced lives."

Kids can swing, slide, and climb on our interactive playground, open all year round! It's located near Uncle Julio's, along the boardwalk overlooking the lake.
